The Role
This opportunity is a short term site based leadership role for an experienced Superintendent. You will oversee a Supervisor, 10 direct reports and a sealing Subcontractor who has an additional 10 crew onsite.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the workload and performance of site supervisors, crew and subcontractor workforce
• Compliance with MRL safety procedures to ensure all work is undertaken in a safe manner at all times
• Undertake site inspections and interactions daily with the workforce
• Provide technical support and direction to the team
• Ensure the quality of output on the earthworks components are in line with the needs of the company
• Monitor and mentor employees and always promote harmonious work environment
• Provide positive leadership to the workforce, promoting a can do culture and promoting safety initiatives

The Ideal Candidate will have;

• Previous demonstrated experience as an Site Superintendent or Senior Supervisor
• Extensive exposure to major earthworks or heavy civil roadworks in a remote environment
• Strong people and safety leadership skills
• Highly motivated and organised
