What you can expect from MRL
To support our continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Manager – Process Improvements to join our Applecross based finance team.

Reporting to our Group Financial Controller, your primary focus will be to review and optimise our Corporate Finance processes and controls.

With a demonstrated background in accounting and finance coupled with CA/CPA qualifications, you will be a highly analytical individual with significant experience in reviewing financial reporting system process integrity, conducting process design/redesign activities and assisting with the development of implementation/change management plans.

What we expect from YOU

  • Review, design and implementation of processes to improve the efficiency, accuracy and reliability of:
    • Corporate and Transactional Finance systems
    • ERP and associated integrated systems’ integrity and controls
  • Reporting on process improvement initiatives and audits
  • Associated Risk Register maintenance and reporting
  • Internal audit and control reviews, including maintaining the Corrective Actions Reporting System to ensure process and control improvements are recorded; and that preventative and corrective actions are identified and effectively implemented
  • Monitoring Group Capital expenditure compliance and associated reporting.

What YOU will bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce
  • Hold CA/CPA qualification
  • Demonstrated initiative and proactivity
  • Ability to develop systems and controls to reduce fraud and risk
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the auditing/financial reporting profession or in a similar role
  • Comprehensive project management experience, specifically with ERP integration and other IT systems
  • Demonstrated financial and operational accounting experience
