The Role
Our HR Officers provide key administrative support within our Human Resources Department. They provide strong administrative support, ensuring activities are carried out with accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness.
Each task undertaken stretches across the complete employee life cycle. Establishing records for our newest employees; updating conditions of employment; transfer of work locations, and right through to the conclusion of employment.
Our HR Teams work at a quick pace. It isn’t for the faint of heart; you will need to be well organised in your work, process oriented and confident to handle many competing demands on your time.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake all necessary administration activities to support the on-boarding and set-up of new employees
- Process change of conditions requests
- Process termination of employment and maintain exit interview data
- Run reports as requested
- Accurately maintain organisational structures within the SAP system
- Ensure accuracy and process efficiency in all administration activities, regularly audit work of self and others
- Provide basic advice on day to day HR queries
- Liaise with HR Advisor – Systems and Analytics to understand system requirements and amend and update HRSS reference sheets and processes to drive process efficiency and accuracy
- Provide input to process improvement and system implementation activities
- Understand the detail of the employment arrangements and key human resources priorities of the business unit area that you support, and provide ongoing support to the HR Manager and Advisors in each area as requested.
Your Experience & Skills
- Previous Administration experience in the HR or Payroll space, in a similar position within a large, dynamic organisation
- HRIS database experience with SAP
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive information
- Ability to liaise and communicate with all levels of staff and management
- The drive and ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- High level attention to detail; you can quickly identify errors in work and other inconsistencies with data/ information
- Work strongly within a team environment, but also capable of working independently to progress workloads and priorities
