About the role

Due to exponential growth through 2020, we have a newly created role in our AMG team for an experienced mobile maintenance superintendent to play a key role in coordinating and developing plans and strategies for the ramp up of existing and new projects.  With previous maintenance experience, you will be responsible to identify gaps and continuous improvement areas to provide operational solutions to achieve operational readiness

What we’re after

This is a roving role on a 9/5 FIFO roster from Perth and will give you the opportunity to see a variety of our sites and work locations across Western Australia. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will also provide hands on maintenance superintendent support as required, ensuring the maintenance of mobile equipment is carried out in the correct manner in accordance with client and AMG MRL Operations. Given the fast-paced nature of this role, the roles require someone with demonstrated experience working in an operations environment who is able to adapt quickly to change.

About You

• Significant demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Superintendent in an open pit environment
• Previous experience in mobile maintenance planning and execution
• Mechanical trade qualification
• Demonstrated safety leadership skills with the ability to create a positive safe work culture
• Strong maintenance background with demonstrated experience in developing maintenance strategies to encourage a planned maintenance approach
• Sound computer skills (Microsoft Office)
