About the role

Located at our brand new, world class corporate offices, this is an exciting opportunity to liaise with key business figures. Reporting to the Senior Mine Planning Engineer, the Anaplanner / Business Analyst is responsible for the development, testing, improving and maintenance of Anaplan models and dashboards to support the planning of material movement and quality from Mineral Resources mine sites to the ports. Additionally, the Anaplanner / Business Analyst will also be responsible for understanding the strategic objectives of the business and ensuring these are represented through the mine planning process and outcomes

What we’re after

We are after an experienced Anaplan professional with an enthusiasm and willingness to champion the current mine planning Anaplan model. You will be responsible for;

• Scoping and implementation of new Anaplan models and dashboards to better facilitate mine planning processes and performance monitoring in short to long term horizons
• Testing of the mine planning Anaplan model against other mine planning software
• Promote the benefits and features of the mine planning Anaplan model with MRL leadership and site
• Establish a relationship with other departments
• Act as the Point of Contact for raising and solving issues
• Curation of procedures and training material for the upskilling of personnel in the use of the mine planning Anaplan models
• Analysis of mine planning budgets and forecasts
• Develop and maintain performance tracking and planning feedback loop systems for a range of critical planning inputs relating to capacity forecasting, geological performance, plant-to-plan conformance, and project risk
• Contribute to the maintenance and continued development of the planning SharePoint page and workflow management structure
• Review of planning and evaluation inputs and assumptions such as leading performance indicators, CAPEX and OPEX, and mobilisation costs

What you will bring to the team

• Tertiary qualifications in a Finance, Business or Mining and Resources field or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience with Anaplan model development and maintenance
• Experience with SharePoint Online highly regarded
• Over 3 years of demonstrated experience in a Finance or Business Analyst role
• Experience in the Mining and Resources industry highly regarded but not essential
