The Opportunity

Your role as a Graduate Mining Engineer will see you play a vital part will see you play a vital part in the development and implementation of mining operations, ensuring the efficient extraction of resources while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

You will gain hands-on experience in areas such as mine planning, operations management, equipment optimization, safety protocols, and data analysis, all while working alongside experienced professionals in the field.

 

The Program

As part of the 2026 Mineral Resources Graduate Program, you will have the opportunity to kick- start your professional career with one of Australia’s fastest-growing mining companies.   

  • Tailored Two-year program will challenge your thinking across a range of business functions, each offering immediate exposure to large-scale projects. 
  • Exposure to different commodities and Services including Iron Ore, Lithium, Energy, Mining Services & Construction.
  • Rotations within our state of the art head office and site based experiences on our Mineral Resources operated sites.
  • Ongoing support from dedicated Program Mentors and committed leaders, you’ll be well-positioned to grow a successful career in mining. 

 

Requirements for the Role

  • Graduated by the end of 2025 bachelor of  Mining Engineering or have graduated from a recognised University within the past 24 months
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold unlimited working rights at the time of application
  • Have availability to commence full-time employment at the end of February 2026
  • Must be based in WA or willing to relocate
