The Opportunity 

Your role as a Graduate Electrical Engineer will play a vital part in supporting the design, maintenance, and optimisation of electrical systems within MinRes. 

You will gain exposure and technical expertise in the integration of electrical infrastructure that powers mining operations, including conveyor systems, crushers, ventilation and safety systems.  

Throughout your time with us, you will work closely with experienced engineers to improve the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards as well as rotations in control systems engineering.  

The Program

• Tailored Two-year program will challenge your thinking across a range of business functions, each offering immediate exposure to large-scale projects.  

• Exposure to different commodities and Services including Iron Ore, Lithium, Energy, Mining Services & Construction. 

• Opportunities experience real challenges to implement renewable energy and battery technologies in the mining and resources sector. 

• Rotations within our state of the art head office and site based experiences on our Mineral Resources operated sites. 

• Ongoing support from dedicated Program Mentors and committed leaders, you’ll be well-positioned to grow a successful career in mining.  

Requirements for the Role  

• Graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical/Control System by the end of 2026 or have graduated from a recognised University within the past 12 months. 

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold unlimited working rights at the time of application. 

• Have availability to commence full-time employment at the end of February 2027. 

• Must be based in WA or willing to relocate.
