The Opportunity

MinRes have an exciting opportunity for a HD Fitter – specialising in Excavators and Dozers. This will be a challenging and dynamic role encompassing both time on the job as well as time focusing on reliability and improvement initiatives.  

Based at our world class Wodgina Lithium mine, this role will be 8/6 dayshift only - FIFO from Perth. 

Key responsibilities:

• Support site execution of reliability & improvement projects for our fleet, focusing on improving reliability and reducing total costs of ownership
• Contribute to improvements in maintenance strategies and tactics by effectively communicating real world data on failures to central support teams
• Preventative and Breakdown maintenance on Excavators and Dozers 
• Provide technical expertise and input to support site maintenance, leaders, and central AMG teams, by acting as SME

Essential skills:

• Extensive knowledge and experience maintaining Cat Dozers and Leibherr Excavators 
• Absolute commitment to safe work practices
• Basic understanding of reliability centred maintenance
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, ability to clearly document procedures and present findings

Qualifications we’re looking for

• Current Australian driver’s license
• Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Mobile Plant Technology or Heavy Duty Fitter
• Must hold working rights in Australia
• Hold, or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance issued within 12 months
