The Opportunity

Our CSI Mining Services Onslow Haulage team are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our dedicated team operating at our truck maintenance facility at the Onslow Iron project. In this role, you will be integral in managing and coordinating the timely and efficient planning of asset maintenance schedules to ensure optimal site performance.

This is a full-time, permanent an 8D 6RR roster, flying in and out of Onslow and staying at Yarrie Village.

Key Responsibilities.

• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules for road trains, LV's, and ancillary equipment.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities with technicians and other team members.
• Monitor and track maintenance activities to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of vehicles and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source parts and equipment.
• Analyse maintenance data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Assist in the development of maintenance budgets and manage costs effectively.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team.

What will you bring:

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler within the transportation industry.
• Mechanical Trade (desirable but not essential)
• Proficiency in the use of a computerised maintenance management system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
• Ability to quickly adapt plans in response to unexpected maintenance needs.
• Extensive knowledge in the use of Pronto and Microsoft programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• An understanding of maintenance workflows within mining or similar heavy industries.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems effectively.
