About the role

To support our continued growth in 2022, we are seeking an experienced Asset Performance Specialist to join our Asset Management team in Osborne Park.

Reporting to the Asset Management Group Systems Manager, you will play an integral role in the continuous improvement of Asset Management systems and processes through the specialist service of asset performance analysis and improvement.

  • In this role you will manage all aspect of asset performance analysis across the Asset Management Group, providing fit for purpose processes, systems, standards, reporting and business value analysis to central teams and operations.
  • You will be responsible for implementing a standard framework for asset performance reporting, benchmarking and analysis across multiple fleets and equipment types, to unlock areas of potential value to the business.
  • You will implement equipment asset health capabilities, linking events, alarms, and time series information to known failure modes, in order to develop failure avoidance capability in the business.
  • You will work on the implementation of maintenance descriptive and predictive analytics tools and solutions, leveraging from the MRL AWS/IoT implementation and in collaboration with Technology (IT) and analytics stakeholders.
  • You will standardize asset data models across multiple business processes, to continuously improve structured data and will support the business on the development and improvement of business intelligence solutions.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Trade certificate or tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience on asset performance management and analytics
  • Strong knowledge of performance analysis and asset health on mining
  • Understanding of data platforms, data management, and equipment analytics
  • Desirable knowledge of MS Office, Power BI, AWS/Grafana, Python, SQL
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
