About the role

Our Wodgina Mining operations team are seeking an experienced Processing Trainer to join their team. This role is on an 8:6 day shift only FIFO roster. As the Processing Trainer, you will ensure that worker and workplace training needs are successfully achieved to the MinRes standards, aligned to the organisation's goals and provide the necessary value add. This is a site-based role. It is a support role for the business to meet the requirements outlined in the Training Framework through effective training and assessment activities.

• Promote review, implement, and support the MinRes Training System that provides foundation and direction for MinRes employee training.
• Primarily duties are to facilitate training and assessment on MRL Lithium Processing plant to meet site needs in accordance with the MinRes Training System
• Develop training packages to meet business needs
• Build key relationships with site based management teams to ensure their training needs are met.
• Promote and support the MinRes Training Standards and Processes.
• Provide support and resource capabilities to the Training Supervisor in regards to training and assessment facilitation.
• Upload completed training documentation into InTuition
• Proactively assist sites in achieving their training and compliance needs
• Lead by example in the field to ensure best practices are demonstrated and abided by. 

About you

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – TAE40116 (Mandatory)
• In depth experience in the Resources and Mining sector in a Process Operator capacity
• Experience in a Training Role
• Training Management System experience (InTuition desirable)
• Experience in using training tools such as Training Needs Analysis
• Valid C Class driver's licence
