The Opportunity:

Join our team as the Mineral Resource & Ore Reserve (MROR) Reconciliation Lead, where you'll play a pivotal role in embedding the MROR reconciliation process across our operational sites. Your primary focus will be on providing technical reviews and support to ensure the accurate measurement, tracking, and analysis of our Mine Value Chain (MVC) inputs and outputs. You'll collaborate closely with site champions to monitor performance trends and implement corrective actions where necessary. Additionally, you'll be responsible for managing reconciliation reporting and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Your primary responsibilities may include:

  • Implementing appropriate data management tools to ensure consistent data analysis and reporting across all MinRes operations.
  • Embedding procedures within all functional areas to support the MROR reconciliation process.
  • Implementing and maintaining systems for reconciliation reviews to address non-conformances related to budget planning deviations and locally changing ore deposit characteristics.
  • Acting as a liaison between key Technical Services and Mining stakeholders to analyse planning inputs and support operational delivery requirements.
  • Ensuring the correct usage of models across the MVC to facilitate accurate reconciliation.

What is required?

  • Tertiary education in Geoscience.
  • Practical understanding of Resource Estimation principles
  • 15+ years in the Mining or Natural Resources industry with a combination of OP and UG exposure.
  • Previous mine site-based experience at a Senior Leadership level.
  • Technical understanding of Mineral systems to aid in Resource Development plans.
  • Strong understanding of Mine Planning processes within OP and UG operations.
  • Experience in data analysis, due diligence reviews, and technical studies.
  • Demonstrated experience liaising with technical & non-technical teams across the MVC.

  5. Effective Planning and Project Management: Offer examples of how you have effectively planned, managed projects, and delivered tasks on time with minimal supervision, showcasing your organizational and time management skills.
