Due to continuous growth at MinRes, we are looking for an experienced Rewards Analyst and Senior Rewards Advisor to fill newly created roles in our Reward team.
About the roles
Rewards Analyst
The Rewards Analyst role is responsible for providing assistance and guidance to the Reward team and broader People & Capability team on market analysis and data trends to inform Reward programs and practices.
- Manage remuneration survey submissions and the annual review of award and agreement rates. Analyse trends and costs in survey results to assist in comparing MRL remuneration practice to the market. Maintain reward data to a high degree of accuracy.
- Analyse relevant data to prepare and present high quality written reports for input to papers, presentations and other material on behalf of People & Capability team.
- Support the delivery of annual and cyclical activities like remuneration review, short-term incentive plan, quarterly bonus program, salary benchmarking, reporting etc, including coordination, communications, budget calculations etc.
- Assist with Workforce Planning and Budget processes through the provision of accurate workforce data.
- Assist with the evaluation of roles using the Aon JobLink methodology and provide sound advice regarding evaluations to HR Advisors and HR Managers.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Finance, Business or another related field (desired but not essential)
- Previous experience in an analytical role in HR, Finance or related discipline, in a complex organisation. Experience in business analytics, benchmarking, and reporting
- An understanding of market data survey processes and market data analysis along with the ability to analyse and manipulate large and complex datasets
- Strong Excel, numeracy and analytical skills and the ability to highlight errors and anomalies, and manipulate and draw insights from data
- Excellent communication skills and highly service orientated
Senior Rewards Advisor
The Senior Rewards Advisor is responsible for providing advice and support to the Reward team, broader People & Capability team and senior business leaders on a range of Reward policies, programs and practices, drawing on their technical skills and professional knowledge.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide research and analytical support to the Reward team in the development and delivery of various Reward and Benefits projects.
- Oversee remuneration survey submissions and the annual review of award and agreement rates. Analyse trends and costs in survey results to assist in comparing MinRes remuneration practice to the market.
- Be our Job Evaluation (JE) champion responsible for the governance of our job banding and JE approach. Evaluate roles using the Aon JobLink methodology and provide sound advice regarding evaluations to HR Advisors and HR Managers.
- Oversee the delivery of annual and cyclical activities such as remuneration review, short-term incentive plan, quarterly bonus program, salary benchmarking, reporting etc.
- Assist with the creation of bespoke communication materials and campaigns to support employee knowledge and understanding of MinRes Rewards & Benefits.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Finance, Business or another related field (desired but not essential)
- Demonstrated experience in Reward within a large organisation, including practical experience of benchmarking, job evaluation, incentives and benefits management
- Demonstrated experience in delivering projects
- Knowledge of market trends and contemporary HR principles and philosophies
- Strong Excel, numeracy and analytical skills and the ability to manipulate and draw insights from data
- Excellent communication skills and highly service orientated
