The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior People Systems Analyst to support the delivery, administration, and optimisation of fit‑for‑purpose People Systems that meet the needs of the People function across MinRes.

This role has a primary focus on the effective utilisation, configuration, and integration of Workforce Solutions (WFS) Time and Attendance, while supporting other HRIS platforms including SAP SuccessFactors and various workforce management technologies.

You will bring deep technical capability, strong analytical skills, and the confidence to collaborate with stakeholders to enhance systems, deliver solutions, and ensure our People Systems remain contemporary and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical and Operational

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of system incidents, requests, and complex user issues
  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements to enable effective People System solutions
  • Configure, test (UAT and PVT), and implement system changes aligned with agreed processes and priorities
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, functional specifications, and user support materials
  • Build, maintain, and optimise reports, analytics, and dashboards to meet business and compliance requirements
  • Ensure system integrity, security, and role‑based permissions through robust validation and maintenance
  • Support system upgrades and project initiatives, including testing and stakeholder engagement
  • Monitor emerging trends and recommend changes to keep MinRes People Systems best‑in‑class
  • Coordinate and review UAT scenarios, develop test scripts, and validate results prior to production release

Your Experience and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Technology, or related discipline (desirable)
  • Certification in Workforce (WFS) time and reporting modules
  • Extensive experience in Workforce Solutions (WFS) Time and Attendance implementation and configuration
  • Experience with people systems such as PageUp, SAP SuccessFactors, Workforce Software, CultureAmp, Power BI, and Spinifex Easy Reporter (desirable)
  • Strong background in system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Proven ability in business requirement gathering, system analysis, and testing processes
  • High level analytical and problem solving skills with Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Experience with Power BI and Power Query (desirable)
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
