The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrical Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, this key role supports the daily operation and maintenance of the Crushing and Screening plant , role includes looking after multiple disciplines within the assigned area, whilst maintaining the highest standard of statutory electrical requirements.

The role will be regular 8/6 roster, based at our Wodgina mine.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Lead a team of electrical trades to maintain plant performance and ensure production targets are met.
• Develop and improve maintenance, inspection, and testing schedules.
• Capturing all working hours in CMMS
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, testing, and spare parts inventory.
• Plan and oversee shutdowns, including preparation and execution.
• Work collaboratively with Production teams, fostering a shared ownership approach to maintenance.
• Schedule daily and weekly maintenance tasks in coordination with operational priorities.
• Supervise contractors, apprentices, and other personnel as needed.
• Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of all Safety systems for your area.
• Ensure all electrical and instrumentation work complies with Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations.
• Provide training and mentoring for team members, including apprentices, operators and Mechanical trades.
• Cover Site Superintendent duties on an as-needed basis.

What is required?

• 3+ years as an electrical supervisor in a crushing & screening environment
• A Grade Electrical Licence
• Cert IV in Instrumentation
• High Voltage Switching certification
• In-house Electrical Nominee (desirable)
• Section 26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate
• Strong PLC and control systems knowledge
• Demonstrated experience with fixed plant equipment, Gyro Crushers Cone Crushers, High Pressure Grinding Rolls, Screening equipment & conveyor systems  
• Demonstrated knowledge in VSD systems, particularly ABB and Vacon
• Working at heights and in confined spaces NRTs
