About the role

We are looking for a Workshop Supervisor for our Haulage division based in Koolyanobbing on a 2/1 roster from Perth.  The role is being offered as a permanent position and will be an integral part of the Leadership team.

In this position you’ll:

• Lead a great team to achieve outstanding maintenance results and targets 
• Oversee and delegate purchasing of parts and materials necessary to provide mechanical fitting services through purchasing
• Roster management and oversight
• Regularly review JHA and SWP to ensure a high level of safety focus is maintained
• Actively promote and participate in site safety initiatives and toolbox presentations

Necessary skills and qualifications:

• Hold a relevant trade qualification that is supported by previous experience within a heavy haulage environment
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to get the team to work cohesively
• Lead by example in safety and wellness to ensure a culture of zero harm is maintained
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel 
• The ability to use initiative to contribute and support continuous improvement and drive change
