About the role

This is a full-time permanent opportunity for an experienced EI&C Superintendent to join our Construction team working in the Pilbara region of WA on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth.

The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the Electrical teams to ensure safe and effective operation of the electrical systems supplying and controlling the process plants and associated equipment, maximising equipment availability, minimising costs and effectively supervising the electrical team on site.

In this position you’ll:

  • Lead and oversee all electrical construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage Supervisors and Sub Contractors whilst driving productivity and performanceacross multiple work fronts.
  • Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials and equipment.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, and manhours, providing accurate forecasts and reporting

In conjunction with the Site Manager, arrange rosters and check manning levels provide adequate coverage for continuous operations.

Necessary skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years previous experience leading teams in an Electrical Superintendent role 
  • Recent experience working in a Leadership role in Construction and Resources sector
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a everchanging environment.
  • Proven experience in building strong collaborative relationships.
  • Have a Schedule 26.
  • Hold or have the ability to qualify for In-house Electrical Nominee.
  • C Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Current WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical Licence.
  • Current HV Certificate.
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
