Better Jobs, Better Crew, Better Future, Better Life

Emily

MinRes has been the land of opportunity for Emily. Joining us as a receptionist over four years ago she’s now a senior Learning and Development Advisor for the whole business. “At MinRes, just put your hand up and it can happen for you”.

Nathan

Nathan has just clicked over 12 years at MinRes. Starting with us as a young electrician, he’s gone from twisting wires to managing large-scale electrical projects. “I wanted to be a project manager in the mining industry - I achieved that goal substantially sooner than I expected”.

Jemma

Joining the MinRes team at 19 years of age, Jemma never imagined she’d be driving one of the biggest dump trucks in the world. “I started off driving a dump truck and now I’ve been given the opportunity to become an electrician through a four-year apprenticeship".

Pieter

The desire to jump straight in and get involved in a variety of projects from the start led Accounting and Finance Graduate, Pieter, to the MinRes Graduate Program. The program provides exciting learning opportunities for Pieter to find his strengths, interests and work on cutting-edge projects. "At MinRes there's always big new projects happening and interesting areas of work that I can get involved in".

Elle

Elle planned on being a dentist until she took a job on a mine site during a gap year and fell in love with the work. “They were taking a dirty old rock and making it into this gorgeous gold bubble, and I was sold straight away. I applied to switch my degree". Now a senior metallurgist at our Mount Marion lithium mine, Elle loves her job and can see a clear career path ahead.

Steph

At just 30 years old Steph’s a Production Supervisor overseeing up to 20 people per shift. A key member of our CSI team in the Pilbara, Steph first joined the mining industry at 18 with no experience, having previously worked in retail. “I’ve had many training opportunities, including leadership development programs, which keeps the work interesting and I work with a great bunch of people".

Kerrie

At MinRes we recognise that diverse businesses are stronger, smarter and drive better results. We're focused on creating a workplace where our people feel safe, respected, included and valued. We remain committed to supporting the development of female talent and providing flexibility to support them to live their best life.

Kerrin

Dump Truck operator Kerrin has been part of the MinRes team for over five years. A mother and grandmother, she’s the matriach of the crew. She's always happy to help out our new team members and pleased to see more women jumping on board and entering the mining industry. She says, “if you can reverse and use your mirrors, you’ll be fine".

Lauren

Driving trucks, water carts and rock breakers at our Mount Marion lithium operation, Lauren began her career doing facials and progressed to owning her own beauty clinic. Wanting a better job, better future, better life, she made the switch to the mining industry with MinRes and has never looked back.
