Th Opportunity

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced and passionate Emergency Services Officers for our Lithium and Iron Ore operations.

In these highly sought-after roles, you will work an 8:6 rosters; some sites require night shifts, while other it is an on-call basic in which you will be remunerated accordingly. You will work in a small, close-knit team with well-rounded medical emergency response and safety professionals.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Respond and coordinate all emergencies onsite
• Provide 24/7 onsite medical and pre-hospital emergency care, including necessary assessments and treatments.
• Maintain and manage medical and emergency equipment and supplies.
• Liaise with medical professionals and the Injury Management Team to coordinate care.
• Ensure all medical records, forms, and statutory reporting are completed and confidentially managed.
• Uphold compliance with Poisons Licence requirements and relevant legislation.
• Support disease prevention strategies and remain current with best practices in patient care.
• Review, update, and contribute to Emergency and Safety Management Plans.
• Conduct onsite fitness-for-work testing, including drug, alcohol, fatigue, mental health, and hydration assessments.
• Participate in risk assessments, inductions, training, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
• Promote health and safety, report hazards, and participate in debriefs.
• Prepare weekly statistics, conduct inspections, and perform system audits as required.
• Delivery of emergency, fire and first aid training on site.

What will you bring:

• Experience in a same or similar tole on site.
• Cert 4 or Diploma of Emergency Health Care
• Cert III Emergency Response & Rescue with Specialised unit
• Drug and Alcohol testing
• Basic firefighting
• Hazmat
• Rope Rescue, Confined Space Rescue desirable
• BG4 certificate (for our Underground Sites only)
  • RIIERR303E Operate in self-contained regenerative oxygen breathing apparatus.

  • RIIERR309E Establish and operate from fresh air base
