About the role

Reporting to the Gym Supervisor, this role will assist the gym team, and clients with a friendly and professional demeanour. You'll need to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional service to all our members.

Responsibilities.

• Plan and deliver a variety of group fitness classes to company standards.
• Coach and provide personal training to MRL employees & family.
• Create, develop, and review training plans for clients.
• Maintain a clean and organised gym, including equipment and shared space areas.
• Respond to member inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist in administrational tasks, like member onboarding and member management.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning tasks and setting up the space for the next day.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

What will you bring;

• Current Certificate III and IV Fitness.
• Current CPR & Provide First Aid.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturday mornings.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Be able to work with a diverse group of clients of all levels of fitness and interests.
• Experience in operating within a fitness centre.

Desirable:

• Current Working with Children Check.
• Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
• Experience in developing individual and group training programs.
• Experience in using the MindBody management software platform.
