The Opportunity 

As a Graduate Mining Engineer, you will support the planning and delivery of safe, efficient mining operations while developing your technical capability and operational understanding on site. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain hands-on exposure across key areas including mine planning and design, drill and blast, safety systems, and data analysis—building a strong foundation for a well-rounded mining engineering career. 

  

The Program 

As part of the 2027 Mineral Resources Graduate Program, you will have the opportunity to kick- start your professional career with one of Australia’s fastest-growing mining companies.    

  • Tailored Two-year program will challenge your thinking across a range of business functions, each offering immediate exposure to large-scale projects.  

  • Exposure to different commodities and Services including Iron Ore & Lithium with other potential pipeline projects.  

  • Rotations within our state of the art head office and site based experiences on our Mineral Resources operated sites. 

  • Ongoing support from dedicated Program Mentors and committed leaders, you’ll be well-positioned to grow a successful career in mining.  

  

Requirements for the Role  

  • Graduated with a minimum bachelor of Mining Engineering or have graduated from a recognised University within the past 12 months. 

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold unlimited working rights at the time of application. 

  • Have availability to commence full-time employment at the end of February 2027. 

  • Must be based in WA or willing to relocate.
