About the role
This is a full-time 12 month fixed term opportunity for a Document Controller based in our state of the art office located in Osborne Park.
Reporting to the Senior Document Controller the Document Controller will be responsible for the coordination, standardisation and maintenance of all Company project forms and other documentation.
- Undertake a range of document control activities to ensure all Project requirements are met with respect to incoming and outgoing documentation, and in accordance with accepted company processes and required deadlines.
- Assist in the administration of project Document Management System (TeamBinder), ensuring deliverables are kept up to date.
- Transmittal and distribution of documents to stakeholders, internal and external parties
- Assist with enquiries on project documentation for the Projects, Suppliers and third parties.
- Registration of documents associated with project requirements.
- Ensure ongoing education and training of the Document Management System to project personnel.
- Manage the Supplier document control process including expediting (if required).
- Generating reports of document status as required and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Identifying and implementing change to improve the document control system
- Supporting MinRes personnel in approving new and revised documents
- Assigning document numbers
- Ensuring alignment between MinRes document numbering and those documents being generated by third parties
- Ensuring document formatting is in line with MinRes standards and template.
- Liaise with the Quality Control Department and Project Administration to ensure that audits are being carried out on documentation.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of Document Management Systems, TeamBinder experience an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work across numerous tasks and maintain a high standard.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A general understanding of the construction or mining sectors would be advantageous.
