The Opportunity

A full-time position working on a 2:1 roster with alternating day & night shift and reporting to the Workshop Supervisor. You will be working in fast paced workshop environment alongside a close-knit team of HD Fitters, Auto Electricians and Trades Assistants. There will be an opportunity to assist HD Fitters with the servicing of ancillary equipment and road trains.  

What is required

  • Australian or New Zealand recognised trade qualification
  • Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence   
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality of work
  • Demonstrated experience with 4WD Toyota’s and light trucks
  • Diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills
  • The ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Unlimited Australian Work Rights

About Onslow Iron

Our Onslow Iron project is set to redefine mining in Western Australia through world-first autonomous road trains, industry leading dust free transport and innovative trans-shipping.

Taking shape 150 kilometres east of Onslow, the project will ship around 35 million tonnes of iron ore per year and is expected to have a mine life of more than 30 years.

The project will encompass the Ken’s Bore mine (approximately 150km from Onslow), Onslow Port infrastructure and Onslow Truck Maintenance Facility.
