The opportunity
MinRes is seeking a proactive Materials Logistics Officer to join the Warehouse team at our Wodgina Lithium project. Reporting to the Superintendent Warehouse, this role is central to ensuring materials and inventory are available, prepared and delivered when required to support Fixed Plant and Mobile Maintenance activities.
You will coordinate materials readiness across planned, scheduled and breakdown work, acting as the key connection between Warehouse, Logistics and Maintenance teams. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on maintenance execution, equipment availability and operational efficiency.
This is a permanent full-time position on an 8D 6RR roster, FIFO from Perth.
The Role
- Produce and issue weekly parts-readiness reports ahead of weekly and shutdown maintenance cycles.
- Review work-order material requirements to confirm items are available, kitted and staged before work begins.
- Act as the primary materials interface between Maintenance and Warehouse teams, including attendance at planning and scheduling meetings.
- Facilitate regular materials-readiness meetings to identify priorities, upcoming requirements and material gaps.
- Coordinate urgent and breakdown-part procurement and expediting to minimise equipment downtime.
- Develop and maintain a Breakdown Spares Criticality Matrix with maintenance and planning stakeholders.
- Maintain inventory integrity through accurate receipting, issuing, stock control and dispatch processes.
- Support rotables and core management, including cataloguing, returns, tracking and availability.
- Ensure outbound materials are clean, packaged, secured and fit for transport in line with Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Safely operate forklifts and other mobile handling equipment in accordance with site procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain required safety equipment, signage and documentation.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring previous experience in materials management, supply chain or inventory control, ideally in a mining, construction or heavy-industry environment. You are organised, safety-focused and comfortable managing competing operational priorities.
You will also have:
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, asset management principles and quality assurance practices.
- Experience using planning and enterprise systems, such as MS Excel, Pronto and Coupa.
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- An understanding of Australian Standards, legislative obligations and safety requirements relevant to mining or construction operations.
- Experience with technical documentation, auditing and business management systems.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment while taking ownership of priorities and outcomes.

The Wodgina lithium operation is located 120km south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. MinRes manages all mining operations at Wodgina, including a spodumene concentrate processing plant with an annual capacity of 900,000 tonnes (SC5.5).
