About the role

In the Medic role you will be supporting the Safety Manager on the delivery of an Iron Ore project in the Pilbara region of WA working an 8/6 roster from Perth.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond and coordinate all emergency situations onsite.
• Delivery of emergency, fire and first aid training on site.
• Carry out all activities in compliance with statutory requirements and relevant legislation.
• Manage and maintain onsite stock, emergency vehicles, devices and equipment.
• Provide medical care to employees.
• Promote and support site Health and Safety initiatives.

 About you

• Have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in the mining resource industry.
• Possess a Tertiary qualification as a Paramadic or Nurse.
• Hold a Certificate III Mines Emergency Response and Rescue.
• Have a Certificate IV in Pre-Hospital Care.
• Prior experience as an ERT Member or proven experience coordinating ERT activities and training.
• Demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
• Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project, Excel and Word).
