The Role

Our Injury Care and Prevention team is growing. We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Physiotherapists to work on remote mining sites on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth. These roles will provide the business with support in a fixed position at an owner operated operation, as well as in a roving role across client-based sites.

The Physiotherapist plays a key role in musculoskeletal injury prevention, intervention, and recovery at work. The role also assists the Injury Management and Safety Teams in delivering industry-leading prevention and care to our internal workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide acute MSK injury care for injured workers within the scope of our early intervention program.
  • Provide onsite support to workers who have sustained an injury, to return them to their full pre-injury role.
  • Capture and analyse data to inform the business on injury trends and guide the implementation of effective injury prevention
  • Design and deliver injury prevention programs that support MinRes to reduce the frequency and severity of MSK injuries across our operations.
  • Support Group Occupational Health function strategy and performance with current and future needs.

What will you bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
  • Current and unrestricted registration with AHPRA
  • Highly proficient clinical injury care experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the Mining & Resources sector
  • Demonstrated experience in injury prevention design/implementation
  • Current CPR and Provide First Aid
  • Valid WA ‘C’ class manual driver’s license
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of relevant Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.
