We’re on the hunt for an experienced Safety Advisor to support our MinRes-owned and operated Village Operations teams across remote WA sites.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the unique nature of remote village life where safety goes beyond compliance and includes food safety, psychosocial wellbeing, operational risk and strong stakeholder partnerships.

What you’ll do

• Partner with Village Management and operational leaders to improve safety performance
• Provide practical WHS advice across remote village operations
• Identify hazards, assess risks and develop effective controls
• Build and maintain risk registers
• Support the management of psychosocial risks and workforce wellbeing
• Provide guidance on food safety risks and compliance
• Conduct inspections, audits and safety interactions in the field
• Lead incident investigations and support corrective actions
• Review and improve safety systems, procedures and site documentation
• Work collaboratively across multiple sites and stakeholder groups

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 2 years’ direct experience in a Safety Advisor or similar WHS role
• Experience working in a remote village, camp or accommodation services environment
• Strong food safety knowledge and practical experience
• Experience identifying and managing psychosocial risk
• Strong capability in risk identification, assessment and risk register development
• Collaborative approach with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work across a hybrid, multi-site portfolio
• WHS qualification
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence

Desirable

• Lead Auditor qualification
• ICAM, TAPROOT or similar investigation training
• Experience in hospitality, catering, cleaning, accommodation or facilities operations
