Incorporating both site-based and corporate rotations, you'll receive a breadth of industry experience and knowledge. You'll cover technical and behavioural competency training relevant to your profession and have the opportunity to work on a business-relevant project within a chosen scope of your interest. You'll receive a competitive salary with an increase in your second year, and on successful completion of the program you'll be offered a full-time permanent role.

Health and wellbeing 

At MinRes, we’re focused on ensuring our people are physically and mentally healthy, putting them in position to do what they do best. We offer a range of holistic health and wellbeing programs that cover physical and mental wellbeing, injury and prevention management, as well as lifestyle and social wellbeing.

We have a full-time in-house psychologist and regularly send psychologists to our mine sites to support our people. We understand that quality working and living spaces contribute to the overall wellbeing of our people and aim to provide state-of the-art work spaces for our corporate and remote workers, including resort-style camps and a corporate headquarters with a Platinum WELL v2 rating.

Our new headquarters in Osborne Park set the standards for health and wellbeing, with a Platinum WELL v2 rating. The design incorporates features that enhance mood, nutrition, fitness and work patterns, and a range of energy saving measures. If you're a fully-fledged foodie or someone who just doesn’t like to cook, our upmarket restaurant and casual-dining café will amaze and excite. All food and drinks will be heavily subsidised for staff and family members, available to order via our app. Our 800sqm fitness centre offers an extensive selection of equipment and a range of instructed classes. If you prefer to cycle, run or walk to work, state-of-the-art end-of-trip facilities will be available, including bike racks, lockers, towels, hairdryers and washing facilities. There’s also ample parking with 500+ reserved and unreserved car bays.

Jeff - Graduate Mining Engineer

As a Graduate Mining Engineer, Jeff helps to strengthen logistical supply chains for our mine sites, which includes shipping cargo out of local ports towards international waters. Through our Graduate Program, Jeff continues to grow his on-site experience and qualifications - such as gaining his Quarry Managers Ticket.

Joseph - Graduate Exploration Geologist

Being a Graduate Exploration Geologist means Joseph could be designing drill programs at our head office one day, then be on-site collecting rock samples and mapping the next. He relocated to Perth from Melbourne to join our Graduate Program and fuel his passion for working outdoors.

Emma - Graduate Health and Safety Advisor

In her role as Graduate Health and Safety Advisor, Emma works hard to help maintain MinRes' safety focus. She continues to build her skills and experience within our Injury Management team, supporting the needs of our employees and guiding them towards a smooth and safe return to work.

Pieter - Graduate Accountant 

Pieter will undertake five rotations during his Graduate Program – spending time in MinRes' corporate finance, management accounting, iron ore and lithium teams – with his last rotation one of his own choosing. His program mentor - a Principal Financial Analyst – regularly offers support and guidance on how he can maximise his opportunities.

Merryln - Graduate Geologist 

Merryln's exploration geology work has involved planning and creating exploration drilling programs, logging the geology and distinguishing the different minerals, collecting data and using that data to build models to inform our mine planning team. She'll complete a number of rotations across many MinRes sites, projects and commodities.
