Security Officer

The Opportunity
In this vital role, you will help create a safe, supportive environment for our workforce in village accommodation. Working a 14-night on / 14-nights off roster, you will monitor and respond to security and wellbeing needs, ensuring that everyone can rest and recharge after their shifts.
- Carry out regular safety and security patrols of village facilities
- Monitor CCTV systems and manage access to secure areas
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and emergencies
- Complete accurate security and well-being reports
- Support the well-being of village residents through regular check-ins
- Ensure compliance with site safety and security protocols

You may come from a variety of professional or personal backgrounds – we’re more interested in your attitude, reliability, and ability to care for others than a perfect CV.
We are looking for people who:
- Hold or are willing to obtain a WA Security Licence
- Hold First Aid and CPR certificates (or be willing to obtain these with our support)
- Have a WA C Class Driver’s Licence
- Possess strong communication skills and a calm, respectful approach
- Have an interest in supporting mental health and wellbeing (Mental Health First Aid is an advantage)
- Experience with I-CAM or other reporting tools is desirable but not essential
