The opportunity: 

​​​As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will take ownership of MinRes’ integration ecosystem, enabling seamless connectivity between internal systems, cloud platforms, and third‑party SaaS applications. You will design and maintain modern API‑driven and event‑driven integrations, ensuring our data and application landscape is unified, reliable, and secure. 

​Operating within a small high‑performing team, you will be expected to work with autonomy, make sound technical decisions, and bring innovative thinking to complex integration challenges — all while adhering to rigorous professional standards and best practice.​​
 

Key responsibilities: 

  • ​​Design, configure, and maintain integrations, primarily using the AWS based Application Integration Platform, using approved connectivity patterns 

  • ​Implement monitoring, alerting, and pipeline health frameworks to ensure early detection of issues and providing consistent performance 

  • ​Enforce change management and deployment standards in Azure DevOps with structured oversight and quality gates 

  • ​Drive cost‑effective integration design through evaluation of connectivity, scheduling, and compute patterns against workload requirements 

  • ​Collaborate with the Lead Data and Integration Engineer to develop reusable integration patterns and align with architectural principles where required 

  • ​Translate technical solutions into business value by engaging with stakeholders across operational and corporate functions 

  • ​Champion continuous improvement, agile methodologies, and collaborative team culture​ 

What is required: 

  • ​​Formal qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical field 

  • ​Extensive experience delivering integration projects in cloud environments, with deep expertise in AWS integration services 

  • ​Solid working knowledge of AWS (S3, Lambda, EventBridge) and familiarity with messaging/event‑streaming technologies (Kafka, ActiveMQ) 

  • ​Proficiency in Python, Typescript, and SQL 

  • ​Understanding of modern integration patterns — event‑driven architecture, pub/sub messaging, webhooks, request/reply 

  • ​Experience connecting diverse source systems including SaaS platforms, relational databases, cloud storage, and message brokers 

  • ​Strong CI/CD and DevOps skills to ensure consistent deployment and governance of integration assets 

  • ​Foundational certifications in cloud/data engineering or integration platforms highly regarded​
