Overview of the role
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Site Administrator to fill a vacancy at the recently constructed Lucky Bay mine site.
This is a Residential role, based in Kalbarri working 12 hour days on a 4/3 - Monday to Thursday then Tuesday to Friday rotation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure a high quality of communication with the operations teams to ensure there is consistent understanding of day to issues and actions.
- Coordinate visitors and ensure accurate site visitor records are logged and maintained.
- Assist with compliance for statutory requirements and obligations.
- Assist with administration of travel, logistics and procurement.
- Attend meetings as required and take minutes and distribute.
- Maintain site mobilisation, training matrix and site registers.
- Ensure all site administration is kept up to date using correct procedures and protocol.
- Process Company invoices, timesheets, cost reports, purchase orders, subcontractor invoices and payments and other required documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance of all internal reporting requirements including HSE, payroll and financial as well as the production and submission of reports as requested by management.
- Provide administrative support to the Project Leadership Team.
- Other administration duties as required.
What you’ll bring to the team
- At least 3 years recent experience in an office environment.
- Purchasing, procurement and / or IT systems experience would be advantageous.
- Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High level of organisational skills.
- Exposure to a West Australian mining environment would be advantageous.
- Experience dealing with a variety of people from a variety of professions.
- Business administration certificate III or similar desirable.
- Previous experience in FIFO / DIDO role.
- Previous exposure to Pronto (ideal).
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
