About Onslow Port

The Onslow Port covers the coastal component of the Onslow Iron Project. Central to Onslow Iron’s success will be its innovative transhipping solution, which will allow MinRes to ship millions of tonnes of ore without the need for a deep-water port.

At the Port of Ashburton, a 220,000 tonne negative pressure storage shed holds the ore before export. 

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Store Person to support our Crushing operations. This will be faced paced role will supporting the Team with the supply, storage, maintenance and distribution of all parts, stock and consumables.

These roles are full-time permanent positions, offering the opportunity to expand your skills through on-site training and build your career both on the tools and in leadership pathways.

What is required?

  • Demonstrated safety commitment
  • Experience in warehousing, supply, maintenance, and distribution, ideally within mining or a similar industry
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Sound communication and time management skills
  • The ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • HRWL Forklift is mandatory
  • HRWL DG, RB, CN, WP (highly desirable)
  • Construction Induction Card 
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing (desirable)
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
  • Ability to meet pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements.
  • Unlimited Australian Work Rights
