About the Program:

• Metro-based role working out of Benny's Restaurant
• 5 days on, 2 days off roster
• Nationally recognised Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• 3-year supported apprenticeship, with the opportunity to extend by a further 1 year to obtain a Pastry trade qualification
• Hands-on experience in an exceptional culinary environment under the incredible leadership of Benny himself
• Opportunity to represent MinRes in culinary competitions, showcasing the exquisite skills you've built on the job
• You'll be fully equipped with a complete Chef Kit from day one

Our structured Apprenticeship Program is designed to set you up for long-term success, giving you the skills, qualifications, and real-world experience needed to build a thriving career in the culinary industry. Upon completion, you'll be a fully trade-qualified chef with a clear career pathway in our growing operations.

Who We're Looking For:

• Enthusiastic new starters with a genuine passion for food and the culinary arts
• A commitment to continuous improvement and a hunger to learn
• Basic familiarity with food preparation, kitchen safety, and hygiene practices — whether from work or personal experience
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team

Prior kitchen experience or a pre-apprenticeship qualification will be well regarded, but what matters most is your drive to learn and your readiness to commit to full-time commencement in the final quarter of 2026. Successful completion of pre-employment medical checks — including fitness and drug and alcohol screenings — and a current C class driver's licence are mandatory requirements.
