About the Opportunity

Join Mineral Resources as a Catering Equipment Maintenance Technician and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Flying in and out of Perth, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing catering equipment across our sites, ensuring our teams have access to reliable food service facilities.

This hands-on position offers the chance to work with a variety of commercial kitchen equipment while supporting one of Australia's leading mining companies. You'll be part of a dedicated team that takes pride in delivering quality maintenance services.

What You'll Do

  • Perform preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, refrigeration units, dishwashers, and food preparation machinery
  • Diagnose and repair equipment faults to minimize downtime
  • Conduct regular inspections and safety checks
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation
  • Coordinate with suppliers for parts procurement and warranty claims
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and urgent repair requests

What We're Looking For

  • Trade qualification in refrigeration, electrical, or mechanical engineering
  • Experience with commercial catering equipment maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel between sites
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
