The Opportunity

MinRes seeks passionate, dedicated, and highly skilled Early Childhood Educators to join our dynamic Next Gen Early Learning Centre team. As a key educational team member, the successful candidate will play an integral role in providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children in a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment. 

This is a casual position, covering annual leave and sickness absence.

  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
  • Regularly observe and document children’s progress and milestones through digital observations, learning stories, and portfolios
  • Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and professional development opportunities, contributing to a culture of excellence across the service
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families, ensuring open communication about their child’s progress, achievements, and challenges
  • Adhere to child protection policies and procedures, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all children in your care, and consistently meeting the highest standards of practice
  • Assist with developing and implementing the curriculum that aligns with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

 

Your Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care  
  • Proven 3 years experience in an early childhood education setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of early childhood development, teaching practices, and applying the EYLF/NQF.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) 
  • Knowledge of child protection policies and creating a safe, supportive learning environment.
  • Passionate and compassionate with a genuine desire to support children’s learning and development
