About the Opportunity

As Leading Hand Check-in, you'll oversee the smooth operation of our airport check-in processes, ensuring our people travel safely and efficiently to mining operations. You'll lead a small team while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate check-in staff during busy operational periods
• Ensure accurate passenger manifest compilation and baggage handling
• Liaise with Operations Leaders and maintain strong working relationships
• Implement safety procedures and compliance requirements
• Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching
• Resolve passenger issues and manage challenging situations professionally
• Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in airport operations, customer service, or similar environment
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and guide team members
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to work various shifts including early starts and weekends
• Understanding of aviation security and safety requirements preferred
• Physical fitness for standing, lifting, and moving baggage
