Are you looking to start a career in the resources industry, return to the workforce or explore a new direction that supports your work–life balance?

MinRes is inviting Expressions of Interest for our Remote Ready Program, with a particular focus on welcoming Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and women who are new to the industry.

With an assessment day on 27th November 2026 and a planned start in the first week of the new year, this is an opportunity to build your confidence, develop practical skills and prepare for life in a fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) environment.

About the Remote Ready Program

Our three-week Remote Ready Program is designed to give you the knowledge, practical skills, confidence and support you need to start strongly in village operations.

Throughout the program, you will be introduced to the routines, responsibilities and standards of working on site. In a structured and supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to:

✔ Understand what to expect from life and work in a FIFO environment
✔ Learn about safety, teamwork and the expectations of village operations
✔ Build practical skills and confidence before stepping fully into your role
✔ Gain valuable exposure to on-site routines and responsibilities
✔ Prepare for a new career with guidance and support along the way

You do not need to have worked in the resources industry before. We are looking for people with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a commitment to working safely as part of a team.

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples interested in starting a career with MinRes.
• Women who are new to the industry and ready to explore opportunities in village operations.
