The Role:

Our AMG Kwinana Workshop  team currently has an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to join their small collaborative team.  You will be responsible for scheduling short to medium term maintenance activities derived from the approved maintenance plan for all AMG assets

This role is a Monday -Friday role

Located south of Perth, the Kwinana Workshop is the largest facility of its kind in Western Australia and undertakes the fabrication of mining and processing plants as well as fixed and mobile equipment maintenance. The workshop services MinRes and client sites. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Utilising Pronto (CMMS) and ERP;
  • Ensure adequate resources and information is presented prior to scheduling work
  • Schedule and deliver WK+1 to 4W maintenance activities
  • Maintain completed work orders ensuring accurate historical data for each asset
  • Print and collate weekly service packs.
  • Ensuring; - adequate provision of documentation, tools, goods, and parts staging in support for the asset management groups for all short term maintenance activities

What you’ll bring to the team?

  • Mechanical trade or technical experience in mobile plant
  • Experience with Pronto (CMMS)
  • Experience with MS Project, Excel and KPI report writing/development
  • Broad knowledge of large and ancillary mining equipment
  • Competent with the timing and resource provision for ad hoc, planning and scheduling functions of industry standard asset maintenance principles in a mining environment
  • Knowledge of HSEQT legislative requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience at an intermediate to advanced level in maintenance scheduling in an active mining environment
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple trade disciplines
  • Experience with contractor management processes
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating resource suppliers
