About the Company:
Australian Garnet owns the Lucky Bay garnet mine, which has a mine life of 30 years. We are an owner miner with our own fleet of mining equipment, have a fully operational processing plant, packaging plant and 7 wind turbines, construction was completed approximately 18 months ago and is located 30 kilometres from Kalbarri.
These position will be based on a;
-
2:1 (Days) FIFO from Perth (Staying in Kalbarri camp accommodation) OR
-
2:1 (Days) BIBO/ DIDO from Geraldton (Staying in Kalbarri camp accommodation) OR
-
8:6 (Days) BIBO/ DIDO from Kalbarri.
Key responsibilities include:

Assist with technical requirements to support mining activities.

Assistance with pipeline services/operations and MUP moves.

Environmental/Survey/Geology data capture for mining operations.

Liaison with Mining, Processing and Maintenance teams within Australian Garnet.

Monitor MUP and Tails operations and take action to maintain or improve production.

Optimise mining operations to provide the best outcome for the business.
Necessary skills and qualifications

Mining experience 1-3 years (preferred);

Good technical aptitude;

Computer literate and motivated to learn;

Experience with sand mining operations (preferred);

Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations (highly regarded);

Certificate III in Surveying and Spatial Information Services (highly regarded).
