About the Company:
Australian Garnet owns the Lucky Bay garnet mine, which has a mine life of 30 years. We are an owner miner with our own fleet of mining equipment, have a fully operational processing plant, packaging plant and 7 wind turbines, construction was completed approximately 18 months ago and is located 30 kilometres from Kalbarri.
These position will be based on a;

2:1 (7 days on/ 7 nights on) FIFO from Perth (Staying in Kalbarri camp accommodation) OR
-
2:1 (7 days on/ 7 nights on) BIBO/ DIDO from Geraldton (Staying in Kalbarri camp accommodation) OR
-
2:1 (7 days on/ 7 nights on) BIBO/ DIDO from Kalbarri.
Your key responsibilities will include operating and maintaining equipment on a mineral sands processing plant.
Key duties will include but not limited to:

Operate and maintain fixed plant and mobile production mining equipment and machinery.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Monitor and report on production and equipment performance.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
What you need to Succeed:
-
Previous experience in mining or heavy machinery operation is preferred (including but not limited to 982/988 loaders, Moxy trucks, forklifts, IT loaders, EWP).

Current driver’s license (HR or C class).

Forklift and EWP tickets (ideal but not essential).

Must be able to provide a national police check and complete a pre-employment medical.

Strong commitment to safety and environmental standards.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Willingness to work in a residential setting with a rotating roster.
