About the Opportunity

CSI Mining Services is seeking expressions of interest for experienced and motivated Mining Supervisors to join an upcoming project supporting our high-performing teams across Queensland. Working a 2/1 roster (7 days on / 7 nights on / 7 days off), you will play a pivotal role in driving operational success while fostering a culture grounded in safety, capability, and continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a crew of 25 operators, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in alignment with production targets.

• Lead and manage operational resources—including personnel, plant, and equipment—to achieve safety, quality, and performance objectives.
• Conduct regular site inspections and daily interactions to support and engage the workforce.
• Provide hands-on technical and practical support to operators on site.
• Monitor and drive team performance to meet key KPIs aligned with company goals.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring best practices are followed at all times.

What is required?

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a Mining and Production Environment
• Demonstrated 2 years’ supervisory experience in an operational production environment
• Hold G1, G8, G9 formally S1, S2, S3 is essential

• Experience in loader and road train haulage operations
• Pro-active approach to equipment efficiency and waste reduction
• Ability to build win-win relationship with direct and in-direct stakeholders to create successful outcomes
• Dynamic leaderships style to understand, build and coach our teams for success
• Understand operational constraints and identify actions to deliver the mine plan
• Takes ownership for teams’ outcomes and delivers action plans to mitigate future occurrences.
