The Opportunity
Our Mining Services Team are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join our operation on an 8D:6R Roster.

You will support the Production, Maintenance, and Technical Teams to enhance safety, quality, and operational effectiveness. This role requires a proactive approach to process troubleshooting, operational optimisation, and participation in capital and improvement projects. You will also play a key role in process safety, investigations, and shutdown support.

Key responsibilities 

  • Provide technical and process engineering support across teams
  • Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly operations and quality reports
  • Troubleshoot processes, control systems, and maintenance issues, recommending improvements
  • Act as the operations representative on capital, improvement, and engineering projects
  • Conduct investigations, ensuring clear corrective actions are identified
  • Support process safety and safety in design for fixed plant assets
  • Provide technical support during shutdowns, including commissioning tasks

 

What is Required:

  • Previous demonstrated experience in a Production Engineer role within fixed plant processing environment.
  • Previous post-graduate experience, ideally within the resources industry
  • Iron Ore or base metals experience preferred (not essential)
  • Exposure to stockyard, stacking, and reclaiming facilities advantageous
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computing abilities
  • Commitment to high safety and environmental standards
  • Positive, flexible attitude and strong relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter mindset with a strategic approach and passion for teamwork
