Our CSI Training division is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Compliance Trainers ready to make an impact across some of Western Australia's most exciting project sites. From the red dirt of the Pilbara to the Goldfields and beyond, no two swings will look the same. You'll play a hands-on role across the full project lifecycle — from start-ups and ramp-ups through to operational readiness — while also providing vital leave coverage support. As a Compliance Trainer, you will play a key role in ensuring our operations meet all legislative, safety, and company requirements. Your passion for delivering high-quality training and assessment activities, including Nationally Recognised Training qualifications, will directly contribute to strengthening and evolving our industry-leading safety culture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Effectively facilitate training Nationally Recognised Training, VOC, Site based training presentations etc. to meet site needs in accordance with the MRL Training Systems
  • Promote and support the MRL Training Standards and Processes
  • Promote, mentor and coach Authorised Assessors for effective workplace understanding and use of MRL Training documents, tools, packages and presentations
  • Promote, review, implement and support the MRL Training System that provides foundation and direction for MRL employee training
  • Proactively assist sites in achieving their compliance training requirements
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all applicable legislation, and standards
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to identify training and assessment gaps
  • Conduct thorough reviews of plant and equipment programs, delivering detailed feedback to ensure compliance with current operational standards and best practices
  • Develop training packages and training plans to meet business needs
  • Ensure training delivery adheres to professional policies, procedures and regulatory bodies, working towards nationally consistent best practice
  • Ensure training records are produced and stored in accordance with MRL Company Standards
  • Maintain training profiles in accordance with Registered Training Organisation requirements
  • Assist workplaces and workers in gaining maximum proficiency not just competency from training to achieve company goals and increase the return on investment

 What will you bring?

  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent – essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in relevant discipline e.g. - mine haulage, heavy vehicle operations or transport compliance, crushing, maintenance, surface mobile equipment
  • Current RII tickets relevant machinery
  • Current RII tickets for relevant machinery
  • WorkSafe High Risk Licences
  • RIO, BHP, Roy Hill inducted would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • High-level attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Current C Class driver's licence essential
