The Opportunity 

MinRes is seeking an experienced Senior Mine Surveyor to join our Bald Hill operation on an 8D6X roster flying from Perth.

You will play a pivotal role leading delivery of accurate survey data and supporting with operational planning. This role will interface closely with our operations teams to ensure precision in end of month reporting, survey mark ups and volume reconciliation. 

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive open pit mine surveying activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards  
• Manage end of month surveyed volumes – data entry, reconciliation and reporting  
• Complete survey mark ups to support mining, drill and blast operations  
• Provide timely reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly survey updates  
• Utilise Vulcan and other relevant software to prepare plans and models  
• Collaborate with operational teams to deliver accurate surfaces, designs, and spatial data for production and planning purposes  
• Maintain up to date survey records with a strong QA/QC focus 
• Working towards a safety-first work environment and approach 

What is Required: 

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Mining Engineering or related discipline  
• Extensive Mining survey experience, ideally in open pit operations, demonstrating qualities  
• High attention to detail with strong data accuracy skills  
• Proven end of month reporting, volume reconciliation, and survey data management experience  
• Hold an authorised mine surveyor’s certificate
• Proficiency with Vulcan and experience with Surpac highly regarded  
• Knowledge of GPS systems, including Trimble RTK highly regarded  
• RePL Licence and relevant drone experience essential
