About the Opportunity
As a Mining Supervisor with MinRes, reporting to the Mining Superintendent you'll take ownership of a high-performing crew on our world-class Lithium projects, driving safe, efficient, and productive operations across every shift. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who leads by example, holds the line on safety, and knows how to get the best out of the people around them. You will lead a crew of up to 40-50 operators to reach production targets safely, and on time. 

You'll be joining a business that moves fast, backs its people, and rewards those who bring energy, accountability, and genuine leadership to the table.

Working a 7 days on / 7 nights on / 7 days off roster (2/1), you'll have the time on site to build a genuine team culture, and also have the time at home to enjoy everything that matters outside of work. 

• Overseeing and managing our assets, including people, plant, and equipment, to achieve operational outcomes in safety, quality, performance, efficiency, and cost
• Conducting regular site inspections and daily interactions with the workforce
• Providing technical and practical support to operators, as well as developing your team to reach their full potential. 
• Ensuring team output and KPIs are on track, in line with Company objectives
• Maintaining and fostering a working environment that prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding service.

What is required?

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a Mining and open pit Production Environment 
• Demonstrated 2 years’ supervisory experience in an open pit environment
• Hold a Statutory – Schedule 26 
• Ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong focus on safety and fostering a zero harm culture
• Diploma of Surface Mining Operations desirable, if not attained MinRes invest in your pathway to attain it.
