Get to know MinRes
MinRes is an innovative and leading mining services company with a growing world-class portfolio of mining operations across multiple commodities, including iron ore and lithium.
Mining Services
For the past 30 years, our CSI Mining Services (CSI) business has specialised in build-own-operate, providing both the capital infrastructure and operational expertise.
Through a range of world-class specialised crushing, screening and processing services, CSI has developed long-standing relationships with some of the world’s largest mining companies and earned a strong reputation as a provider of purpose-built, high quality products and services.
CSI also offers design, manufacture, commissioning and on-site operation and maintenance of plant facilities as well as the provision of specialised mine services.
Commodities
We continue to grow and diversify our mining operations through ownership and management of sites across the Goldfields and Pilbara regions of Western Australia.
Our portfolio of iron ore assets includes our Koolyanobbing, Carina and Parker Range sites in the Yilgarn Shire, and our Onslow Iron, Wonmunna and Iron Valley sites in the Pilbara.
Our hard rock lithium mines in Mt Marion and Wodgina also position us as one of the world’s largest owners of hard rock lithium deposits. MinRes mines lithium ore and produces spodumene concentrate at both sites, helping support increasing global demand for electric vehicles and energy storage.
Energy
The MinRes Energy division is supporting our continued growth by pursuing opportunities to access low-cost, reliable and cleaner fuel to power our operations.
We see natural gas and renewable energy solutions as key to reducing the company’s dependency on diesel fuel while supporting our goal to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
As the largest acreage holder in the onshore Perth and Carnarvon basins, MinRes holds permits across 25,000 sqm and in recent years has made significant gas discoveries throughout the Perth Basin.
We work closely with landowners, governments, industry and the community to ensure energy opportunities are explored responsibly and safely.
Innovation
Our people are empowered to challenge the status quo and actively explore new ideas and opportunities.
This can-do culture has fostered the development of several innovative products and processes which add value and provides MinRes with a competitive advantage.
Our investment in patented technology is supporting lower-cost mining services solutions, some of which include:
- Our NextGen 3 crushing and screening plant, which produces less dust and noise than traditional crushing plants
- Carbon fibre vibrating screens for our crushing plants, which last longer than traditional steel screens
- World first autonomous road trains, each capable of hauling 330 tonnes of iron ore, and
- Purpose-built transhipppers set to deliver more efficient and environmentally friendly marine haulage for our Onslow Iron project.
