Get to know our business
We are an innovative and leading mining services company, with a growing world-class portfolio of mining operations across multiple commodities, including iron ore and lithium.
For the past 25 years, our CSI Mining Services (CSI) business has specialised in Build, Own, Operate projects, providing both the capital infrastructure and operational expertise. Providing a range of world-class specialised crushing, screening and processing services, CSI has developed long-standing relationships with some of the world’s largest mining companies and earned a strong reputation as a provider of purpose-built, high quality products and services. CSI also offers design, manufacture, commissioning and on-site operation and maintenance of plant facilities as well as the provision of specialised mine services such as materials handling, plant and equipment hire and maintenance, tails recovery, aggregate crushing and mine design, engineering and construction.
We continue to grow and diversify our mining operations through ownership and management of sites across the Goldfields and Pilbara regions of Western Australia.
Our portfolio of iron ore assets includes our Koolyanobbing, Carina, and Parker Range sites in the Yilgarn Shire, and our Wonmunna and Iron Valley sites located in the state’s north.
Our hard rock lithium mines in Mt Marion and Wodgina also position us as one of the world’s largest owners of hard rock lithium deposits. We mine and produce both lithium ore and spodumene concentrate, which helps fuel increasing global demand for electric vehicles and energy storage.
We continue to pursue long-term energy solutions to deliver lower costs, reduce our reliance on diesel fuel and lessen our carbon footprint – all supporting a goal to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. Our Energy team is focussed on supporting future business growth by integrating lower-emission and renewable energy solutions, and working closely with government, industry and community stakeholders to ensure all new energy opportunities are explored responsibly and safely. As a wholly owned subsidiary of MinRes, Energy Resources (ERL), is also WA’s largest holder of gas exploration permits in the Perth Basin operating eight permits across more than 7,200 square kilometres. Our highly prospective gas exploration permit in the Carnarvon Basin spans more than 6,200 square kilometres.
Our people are empowered to challenge the status quo and actively explore new ideas and opportunities, and this culture has fostered the development of a range of innovative products and processes which add value and provide us with a competitive advantage. We've invested in patented technology to create lower-cost mining services solutions with high barriers to entry. Some of our significant innovations include:
Our NextGen 2 crushing and screening plant, which produces less dust and noise than traditional crushing plants.
Carbon fibre vibrating screens for our crushing plants, which last longer than traditional steel screens.
320T jumbo road trains which are quicker to market than rail.
