The Opportunity

MinRes are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Planner to join our Wodgina team on a 4x3 or 8x6 FIFO roster. This role is critical in ensuring the effective planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical maintenance activities. You’ll play a pivotal part in minimising downtime and ensuring all work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

• Plan electrical maintenance tasks for day-to-day and shutdowns, including labour, materials, and tools.
• Develop and manage electrical schedules using Microsoft Project, identifying critical paths and key priorities.
• Coordinate resources – source parts, liaise with procurement, and organise labour (internal and contractors).
• Ensure safety and compliance by aligning plans with HSE standards and permit requirements.
• Work closely with other teams (Ops, Maintenance, Engineering) to finalise scopes and communicate updates.
• Support execution by providing job packs, resolving issues, and monitoring work quality.
• Conduct post-shutdown reviews, ensuring proper closeout, reporting, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Electrical Maintenance Planning
• Proven ability to plan multiple maintenance activities across remote sites, including awareness of logistical challenges
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning philosophies and shutdown strategies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel and Project planning capabilities
• Hands-on experience supporting production in mineral processing plants
• Demonstrated knowledge and use of Pronto (CMMS) – essential

The Wodgina lithium operation is located 120km south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. MinRes manages all mining operations at Wodgina, including a spodumene concentrate processing plant with an annual capacity of 900,000 tonnes (SC5.5).
