About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and organised IT Support and Asset Officer to join our dynamic team working on a Monday to Friday roster. In this role, you will work collaboratively to minimise organisational costs through product standardisation and asset tracking, various tasks within the IT Asset Lifecycle, and maintain records and databases for our hardware and software assets and providing technical support on IT Assets, communicating with various customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver various tasks within an IT Asset Lifecycle including but not limited to procurement, build, deployment, tracing, maintenance, testing, dispatch, replacement, and retirement of all IT assets.
  • Oversee procurement, build, deployment, tracing, maintenance, testing, replacement, and retirement of all IT assets.
  • Respond to technical queries and provide support for all IT assets across the organisation.
  • Ensure all assets (including unassigned) are accurately recorded in the asset database. Facilitate stock-takes and forecasts of IT asset requirements.
  • Coordinate connection and deactivation of voice, data, and satellite services.
  • Facilitate warranty claims and ensure correct cost allocation for all asset requests.
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting on mobile device compliance to company standards.
  • Foster positive working relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Maintain and report on asset data, applications, and software licenses in the CMDB.
  • Support the collection and management of devices from departing employees and redeployment of unused assets.

About you

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, IT, or relevant industry certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification (desirable).
  • Strong background in asset management and desktop applications.
  • Extensive experience in procurement, building, and dispatch of IT assets (laptops, desktops, and mobile devices).
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows, iOS, and Android operating environments.
  • Familiarity with InTune, T-MDM, iTunes, Apple Business Manager, Knox, and Servicenow (preferred).
  • Understanding of IT asset lifecycle.
