About the Role

We are currently seeking a Leading Hand Boilermaker to join our CSI team at our Kwinana Workshop.

Located south of Perth, the Kwinana Workshop is the largest facility of its kind in Western Australia and undertakes the fabrication of mining and processing plants as well as fixed and mobile equipment maintenance. The workshop services MinRes and client sites. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Hand duties
  • Supporting a small team and giving and following clear direction
  • Assisting with technical queries  
  • Complete fabrication of chutes, stick steel, pipe, trusses
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret drawings and pipe isos
  • Conducting Prestart meetings with your team
  • Promoting a safe work environment

What’s required 

  • Australian or Australian recognised trade qualification (Mandatory)
  • Current Australian Driver's License (Mandatory)
  • Experience in a workshop environment; proven experience with crushers, gear boxes, conveyor systems, screens and related fixed plant machinery (Mandatory)
  • Leading hand experience in a workshop environment (Mandatory)
  • Demonstrated safety commitment (Mandatory)
  • Confined Space with Gas Testing (Desirable)
  • Working at Heights (desirable)
