The Opportunity

MinRes Marine team is seeking Marine Project Manager to provide technical advice, ensure safety and efficiency is consistent for our transshipment operations.

The Marine Project Manger will play a crucial role assisting with the design, construction and operations of newbuild Transhippers and Pusher Tugs. This position offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will ensure seamless marine operations and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Support the Marine Team through periodical attendance at shipyards during commissioning trials, contributing to project success.
  • Assist with onsite support at Onslow operations, ensuring smooth marine activities and effective logistics.
  • Collaborate with the GM Marine - Technical, providing assistance with engineering requirements and fostering technical project advancements.

What is required

  • Class 1 Marine Engineer
  • Extensive experience of Marine Project or Port Operational background with proven experience at Senior Management level
  • Strong understanding of shipyard commissioning processes and marine logistics.
  • Marine, Engineering qualifications (desirable)
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in a marine or technical context.
  • Detail-oriented approach to support engineering requirements and project deliverables.
  • Proficient computer literacy skills
